The 1550 nm direct modulated (DMOD) laser transmitters of the AT5100 series offer a flexible and scalable solution for the optical transmission of high-quality video signals in CATV networks over short and medium distances. The transmitters are equipped with a DFB laser with high linearity and low wavelength deviation (chirp). The high performance is also achieved through integrated compensation of pre-distortion and AGC control.
