Single cable solutions

The single-cable multiswitch SCA 508-16 A has 5 inputs (4x SAT, 1x terr.), 5 cascade outputs and 8 SCR / legacy outputs. A Quattro or two wideband LNBs can be connected to the input. The terrestrial branch is active and can be switched to a bypass mode. Each output has 16 user bands in SCR mode. Receiving systems can be set up for up to 128 receiving devices that support the required SCR modes. Legacy mode outputs work like a multi-switch output. The device is receiver-fed.

  • Auto-detection legacy or SCR mode
  • Mixing of SCR and legacy mode with independent outputs
  • SCR mode supports BSkyB, EN 50607 (SCD 2) and EN 50494 (SCD)
  • Terrestrial branch supports DOCSIS, cable and terrestrial reception <1 GHz
  • Cascade outputs enables cascade systems to be set up
  • Die-cast housing
  • Optional DC supply via additional power supply unit (Article No. 9268025) + Power Inserter (Article No. 6900002)

The TSM 32 HD SAT converter converts SAT signals from 4 inputs to frequencies in the range of 290 to 2150 MHz (290 to 2340 MHz for wideband). Every desired DVB-S/S2 SAT transponder is converted from its original frequency position into a freely selectable frequency grid. Unwanted transponders are no longer included in the output signal.

Image: The compact SAT IF converter sets 32 digital SAT transponders into a new output frequency, so that all desired transponders can be fed in one IF layer.

Single Cable Application for up to 32 subscribers

The POLYTRON SCA 508-4 resp. SCA 908-4 supplies up to 32 subscribers with satellite channels based on the SCR system (Satellite Channel Router).
The subscribers receive four resp. eight satellite IF levels and thus the complete program variety available. Each of the eight subscriber outputs serves four user bands for SCR applications according to EN 50494.
Each output can be switched to universal mode for oper-ation of standard digital SAT receivers (DVB-S/S2).
The device can be used as a stand-alone or cascade module.

  • Operation with Quattro or optionally with wideband LNBs
