Directly modulated transmitter 1550 nm
The 1550 nm direct modulated (DMOD) laser transmitters of the AT5100 series offer a flexible and scalable solution for the optical transmission of high-quality video signals in CATV networks over short and medium distances.
The transmitters are equipped with a DFB laser with high linearity and low wavelength deviation (chirp). The high performance is also achieved through integrated compensation of pre-distortion and AGC control.
- FTTH applications over short and medium distances
- Long-distance transmission for QAM overlay applications up to 70 km
- Transmission of analog and digital signals up to 15 km
- Transmission of digital signals up to 40 km

- Two redundant, hot-swappable AC power supplies (DC on request)
- Suppression of stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) for optimized intermodulation behavior (CSO)

- SNMP/HTTP monitoring, configuration and control
